II. Nei Kung is an ancient and secret discipline.

The origins of Nei Kung can be traced back to the historical period of the Yellow Emperor (2696 – 2598 B.C.) from whence it has been handed down from master to master evolving into its present form as the unique system of Master C.K. Chu.

In any art, excellence can be attributed to certain details without which the work would be less successful – like a secret ingredient or special technique used in preparing a recipe. Many Chinese restaurants feature "Monk’s Dish" on their menu, for example, but it will taste mediocre when prepared by one chef, exceptionally delicious prepared by another. In Cantonese these secret details are called "bay kuk".

For the various martial art traditions the "bay kuk" were the treasured principles, dramatic discoveries concerning the nature and potential of the human body found under the demanding conditions of extreme violence. These precepts were studied, pondered, fervently practiced and refined by generations of great masters; and revealed only to the select few who were deemed worthy. Nei Kung represents the core principles of such a body of knowledge from one of the great branches of Chinese martial art .
