| IX. Nei Kung is energy for living. The energy demands of every day functioning will eventually wear down the charge of an electric battery. Continuous demand will stress the unit to the point of critical depletion. Unrelenting stress will provoke collapse. Nei Kung practice provides the knowledge and means of recharge, in effect, a succinct and compact manual of procedure for the proper functioning and maintenance of the human battery. The first three postures of Nei Kung constitute the essentials of this discipline and can be easily learned by virtually anyone in two to three weeks, wherein chi is generated proficiently and at will on a daily basis. As training progresses, incremental physical and energetic changes become transformational creating a unique visceral feeling of intense energy and stamina, coupled with deep mental tranquility. As witnessed by the Letters of Recommendation section on this website, the Nei Kung practitioner starts the day with energy, works with energy, plays with energy, makes love with energy; always to return to an amazing new source of vitality and renewal in the midst of lifes whirlwind. The Taoists have long referred to this as, "The eye of the hurricane." |
